Before You Start
Prepare the suction cups
- Place the suction cups in warm–hot water (about 60–70 °C, not boiling) for 5 minutes (This helps them regain shape and improves their grip strength).
- Dry them completely with a clean, lint-free towel.
Prepare the mounting surface
Choose a smooth, non-porous indoor surface such as: a glass window, a balcony door or ceramic tiles.
Clean the surface thoroughly with glass cleaner or an alcohol-based cleaner, then let it dry fully.
Assembly
1. Attach the support arm
Insert the support arm into the slot on the wooden base.
Slide it fully until it sits firmly in place.
2. Prepare the suction-cup bracket
Insert the suction cups into the bracket and secure them using the included screws.
3. Connect the bracket to the support arm
Attach the assembled bracket to the top of the support arm as shown in the illustration.
Ensure it is fixed securely and does not move.
4. Add the carpet pad
Place the sisal carpet pad on the wooden surface.
Align it with the corners and press down so the Velcro holds it firmly.
Mounting the Shelf
5. Install the shelf on your chosen surface
Press each suction cup firmly onto the clean, dry surface.
Hold pressure for at least 10 seconds to push out any trapped air and achieve maximum grip.
Check that the shelf feels stable and level before allowing your cat to climb.
Safety & Care
To keep your shelf performing safely and reliably, please follow these guidelines:
- Adult assembly and installation only.
- Designed for cats only. Do not climb, sit, or hang on the shelf.
- Keep screws and small parts away from children.
- Maximum recommended load: 10 kg.
- For indoor use only.
- Install only on intact, undamaged glass or ceramic tiles.
- Do not use on cracked, textured, frosted, loose, or dirty surfaces.
- Do not keep a window partially open or tilted while the shelf is attached.
- Avoid mounting above beds, sofas, desks, or areas where a falling shelf could cause injury.
- Avoid installation near strong heat sources or temperature extremes.
- Do not modify, drill, or replace parts with non-original hardware.
- Re-press suction cups every 2-4 weeks to maintain maximum grip.
- Check stability regularly; if you notice movement, remove the shelf and reinstall.
